About the Fellowship Program
The Metro Centre for Respiratory Diseases (MCRD), Noida, under PACS (Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine), offers a one-year Fellowship Program designed to provide comprehensive and hands-on training in Interventional Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
To develop expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary procedures while ensuring excellence in the management of complex respiratory conditions.
Selection Process & Stipend
- Admission through a competitive interview process
- Selection based on merit, skill, and commitment
- Stipend: ₹1.25 Lakh per month (paid by MCRD)

Bronchoscopy & Biopsy Techniques
- Simple Bronchoscopy
- Endobronchial Biopsy
- Convex EBUS
- Radial EBUS-guided biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Bronchoscopy in ICU settings
Rigid Bronchoscopy & Airway Management
- Rigid bronchoscopy
- Tumor debulking
- Stent placement
- Transbronchial Cryo Lung Biopsy
- Snares & Balloon dilation
- APC & Knife for airway stenosis
Thoracic Procedures
- Thoracoscopy
- Indwelling pleural catheter placement

- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected
- Joining subject to medical fitness
- Decision of MCRD management is final
- No TA/DA admissible
- Minimum one indexed publication mandatory
- 12 leaves per academic year (excluding Sundays & national holidays)
- Fellowship awarded after exit examination
